Why should adults get all the information?!
You're moving too and you are the one who will be in school all day.

Emerson's motto is Soar High with Emerson Pride! Our motto reminds us that we are proud as eagles at Emerson. We fly high and soar by our positive behavior, high achievement goals, and strong sense of social responsibility! Come experience life as an Emerson Eagle!
Emerson celebrates and welcomes new students through
First Friends! One of our fourth graders is just waiting to give you a
tour, introduce you to teachers and the principal, and take your picture!
This way we learn about you and you learn about Emerson!
Emerson's playground is the best! Our equipment is fun and you'll often find a game of catch going on during recess.
Emerson celebrates science each year! Show us your knowledge through our Science Fair or learn more about science at Family Science Night. These two events alternate between years so you're sure to catch one of them!
Emerson students learn everywhere! Each classroom plans a variety of learning activities that take place off-campus. Our field trips are great!
Our computer lab offers a variety of fun and informative web sites. Technology is a great learning tool at Emerson . . . and fun to use!
Emerson's Fun Nite offers a carnival you won't forget! There are games, a cake walk (with a Packer cake or two), and food! It's so much fun you don't mind bringing your parents!
Emerson's annual book fair features a character or two from your favorite book. It's always fun to see who might show up!
If you're a third, fourth, or fifth grader, you won't want to miss this fun event! A D.J. brings music, games, and prizes!
Every spring, Emerson's talent steps forward for three fun-filled shows! Come to participate or just to watch!!
Fifth graders celebrate their last year at Emerson with trips to the Milwaukee Museum and to Madison's Vilas Zoo. Fifth Grade Recognition tops off the last week of school with a kickball game against the parents and teachers. Who's going to win this year?
This great event on the last Friday in May is a fun way
to begin to wind down! We have fun runs and an obstacle course and many
game booths put together by the classrooms. It's a fun and relaxing
afternoon topped off with ice cream bars!
Let your parents come to school for an evening! Introduce them to your teachers and show them the school. It's fun for you to be able to give them a tour!
Emerson classrooms host a variety of opportunities for students to perform for others. It's always fun to be part of a performance, whether you're in the audience or on stage!
Our PTO sponsors one or two assemblies each year. The topics vary but they are always fun and interesting. Emerson has a great reputation for being one of the best audiences in the district! Come and be part of a courteous, learning assembly!!
Students become part of our helping community by becoming safety patrols, library helpers, or student council members. There's always a task to do and willing and able students to lend a helping hand!!
Remember, you're "At Home At Emerson Elementary School!"
