You're moving too and you are the one who will be in school all day.
So, just for you, here are some fun reasons why you will think our school is the greatest!

Schenk Sharks

We are known as the Schenk Sharks and, as voted by our students, our school colors are turquoise and purple.

Schenk Scramble

A race of a lifetime! Schenk students and staff have fun completing a mile run. Prizes are awarded to all participants.

Student Council

The student council plans many fun events for the school, including Snowman Contest, Bad Hair Day, Beach Day, Talent Show, Twin Day, Valentine Balloon and Sucker Sales, and Packer Trivia. Your ideas are important to the student council!

New Student Helpers

If you are new at Schenk, we have students in every classroom who have volunteered to help. They will give you a tour, introduce you to teachers, eat lunch with you, take your picture and interview you.

Spring Dance

Students and their families love to come to our dance. We have great music, food and of course dancing!

School Store

Students own and operate the school store where anyone can buy classroom supplies like erasers, pencil, folders and glue.

Awards

Students are given awards at an all-school assembly for being good citizens, trying their hardest, improving their grades and for perfect attendance. More than 400 people will be there to congratulate you!

End Of The Year Picnic

School families and staff gather for a picnic followed by outside activities like a water balloon toss, an obstacle course, and races. To top it all off we all get a delicious ice cream treat!

Field Trips

Whether it's walking to nearby Olbrich Botanical Gardens or a trip to the Milwaukee Zoo, Schenk students are always on the move. Try our all-school trip to Old World Wisconsin!
