Definitions

The School at Neighborhood House serves students required to repeat the 9th grade because of credit deficiency during their first high school year. Emphasis is on building the academic skills, attendance pattern, and school work ethic necessary for success in high school or in a high school alternative program. The small setting provides an intense learning experience for students who were not successful during the first year of high school.
