Senators Fred Risser and Spencer Black are unable to attend today's meeting, but arrangements are still being made to attend future meetings.
Liaison Report: Studio School was discussed and debated.
Issues discussed were as follows:
Imbedding Studio School into existing schools
Cost for administration
Additional costs to implement school
Overall, Board of Ed. voted against implementing Studio School. Student Liaison voted against implementing Studio School.
Special education was discussed and a presentation regarding special education was given.
Athletics and extracurricular activities were discussed. Discussing increasing fees for athletic activities were also discussed.
Code of Conduct Discussion:
Reviewed the code of conduct
Level One
Remove section 118 because it is repetitive. Motioned by Henry and 2nd Kate.
Motion passes.
Remove section 114 because it is similar to section 112. Motioned by Kate and 2nd Sam. Motion passes.
