· Lapham-Marquette = Lapham (K-5)
· Sherman-Blackhawk = Sherman
· Affiliated Alternatives (Aero, Sapar, Work and Learn, Cluster)-move to District-owned building (Marquette-O'Keefe campus)
· Saves 1.1 million/moves most kids
· Liaison election process
· Decision-consolidation ~ April 16th
· Budget decision = maybe April 30th
· Extra curriculars/sports-HS
2. Budget effects on students
· Lobbying State legislators April 24th
· What are the repercussions of cuts?
· Meeting during day, no specific time
· Coordinating w/ the District and parent groups
What are we concerned about?
· Teachers-jobs
· Class sizes
· Arts
· Sports (fees)
· After school programs
· Support services-HS (guidance, therapists)
· Custodial services-dirty schools, lessened school pride
From Elementary school to High School
· Later discipline
· Not as many adults-supervise allow teachers communication w/ students b/c of class sizes.
