"Times New Roman"'>The Special Meeting of the Board of Education was called to order by President Carol Carstensen at 7:08 p.m.

MEMBERS PRESENT:                    Carol Carstensen, Bill Keys, Lawrie Kobza, Juan José López, Ruth Robarts, Shwaw Vang, Johnny Winston, Jr.

MEMBERS ABSENT:                      None

STAFF PRESENT:                         Art Rainwater, Barbara Lehman-Recording Secretary

1.         Awards Ceremony for MadisonSchool DistrictStudents and Staff Members

      Nominees and winners of the Joe Thomas Community Service Award, the Kohl Teacher Fellowship Award, and the Distinguished Service Award were recognized by the Board of Education (a copy of the program is attached to the original of these minutes). 

2.         Adjournment

            The meeting was adjourned at 8:29 p.m. by unanimous consent.
