"Times New Roman"'>The Special Meeting of the Board of Education was called to order by President Johnny Winston, Jr. at 7:05 p.m.

MEMBERS PRESENT:                    Carol Carstensen, Lawrie Kobza, Lucy Mathiak, Ruth Robarts, Arlene Silveira, Shwaw Vang, Johnny Winston, Jr.

MEMBERS ABSENT:                      None

STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE

1.         Recognition Ceremony for District Staff and Students and Community Members

      Nominees and winners of the Joe Thomas Community Service Award, the Kohl Teacher Fellowship Award, and the Distinguished Service Award were recognized by the Board of Education (a copy of the program is attached to the original of these minutes). 

2.         Adjournment

            The meeting was adjourned at 8:20 p.m. by unanimous consent.
