The following is a school-by-school priority listing of projects slated for
completion if referendum Question #1 is approved by the voters. The list, compiled
by the district's Building Services staff, is based on current
needs and is subject to change if an emergency occurs. In that case, resources would be
diverted to ensure the health and safety of students and staff.
The "Total Score" column refers to the priority of the building project. The
District has developed a system that scores a project by such things as needs, useful
life and condition. A higher score indicates a more urgent need to complete the project.

The estimate for each project may include any of the following; asbestos abatement,
lead paint abatement, control work, miscellaneous trade work, design cost, profit, and
overhead. An example would be a boiler replacement. This project may involve design
to determine optimum boiler size, control work to base load one boiler, removal of
asbestos insulation on the old boiler, pouring a new concrete pad, steam piping and
insulation, ductwork and replacement of the flue. Thus, each project varies slighting
depending on the particular conditions of each building.
