World Factbook: Find facts, maps, flags and more on countries. This is the US Government's geographical handbook.
Electronic Library - Madison Metropolitan School District: Find links to World Wide Web resources selected for K-12 staff and students, organized by subject and by theme and developed in response to requests from MMSD staff.
BadgerLink: Find full text of magazine and newspaper articles. Sponsored by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.
Maps: Satellite, street and theme maps from National Geographic.
Word Central Student Dictionary: Type in a word and click on search.
Roget's Internet Thesaurus: Find synonyms for words.
Weather: Find weather forcasts from the Weather Channel.
Madison Public Library: Search the computer catalog of the public library.
Wisconsin Newsstand: Search Wisconsin newspapers for full-text articles.
Instructions: Enter your search terms and click on "search." If you want to limit the search to one newspaper, click on "More Search Options." Type the newspaper title in one of the blanks and change that line's category to "Publicaton title."
