Madison Schools Have Openings for Four Year Olds

The Madison Metropolitan School District has openings now in its program for four-year-old children.

It's a free, half-day preschool program for children who do not meet initial expectations for school success, which may put them "at risk." The program does not serve children eligible for Head Start.

The child must be four years old as of September 1, 2000, and live in designated areas of the district. In some cases, transportation to and from school is provided.

To find out if a child is eligible, call 267-1601.
