Ann Yehle Named Principal at Sherman Middle School

Ann Yehle (yale-ee) has been named principal of Sherman Middle School pending the approval of the Board of Education. Yehle has been special education middle school coordinator for the Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD), but will begin transitioning to her new position immediately.

She takes the place of Robert Baudhuin who is stepping down for health reasons. Yehle's appointment is effective on January 22, the first day of the second semester.

Previous to her coordinator responsibilities, Yehle was a program support teacher and a special education teacher in the MMSD. She has a master's degree and a doctorate from UW-Madison with course emphasis in special education and educational administration.

A reception for Yehle and Baudhuin hosted by Sherman's Parent and Community, Teacher, Student and Staff Association will be held on Thursday, January 11 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the school.
