The Madison Metropolitan School District honored six Kohl Teacher Fellowship nominees at last night's special meeting of the Board of Education.

This year, nominations were submitted for six teachers in the District. Each of them qualified for the next round of judging. The Kohl nominees are:
| Barbara De Heer | Allis Elementary School |
| Gene Delcourt | Shabazz City High School |
| Mary Tenia Jenkins | Shabazz City High School |
| Jane Koval | Van Hise Elementary School |
| Margaret Moore | Marquette Elementary School |
| Jennifer Zupan | Toki Middle School |
Cindy La Point, a social studies and math teacher at Jefferson Middle School, was announced earlier as a recipient of a Kohl Teacher Fellowship.
