Summer Food Program at 35 Madison Sites

Free meals are available this summer to eligible low-income children at 35 Madison sites as part of the Summer Food Service Program. The SFSP provides nutritious meals to needy children during the summer, when free and reduced-price school meals are unavailable.

The food sites are in selected Madison schools, parks, apartment complexes, neighborhood centers and other locations where low-income children go. To check on sites or to learn more about the program locally, contact the Food Services Department of the Madison Metropolitan School District at 204-4001.

The Madison SFSP is sponsored and operated by the MMSD Food Services Department, administered by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, and funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
