The Madison Metropolitan School District and Madison Teachers Incorporated have agreed to continue the 4-block schedule next year at La Follette High School. The outstanding issues between the school district and the La Follette staff will be resolved via arbitration.
"We have always been willing to go to arbitration when we cannot work out issues with our represented staff," said Superintendent Art Rainwater. "We are glad that we have agreed to arbitrate the issues so that the students and parents of La Follette now know that there will be a 4-block schedule next school year."
