The Madison Metropolitan School District Board of Education welcomed Oliver Kiefer as the Student Liaison to the Board last night for the 2004-05 school year. Kiefer, a soon-to-be senior at Madison West High School, was elected to represent the students' voice on the Board of Education. Oliver will not be a voting member. He will begin his term at the July 12 regular Board meeting.
Lena Song, a senior-to-be at West HS, has been elected as the alternate and, as such, will also be the Student Senate President for the 2004-05 school year.
