The Madison School and Community Education Library, a resource for anyone interested in K-12 education materials, is now open and accessible to the public.
This new community service of the Madison School District is an educational reference library of about 8,000 titles and it provides preview access to a 12,000 title collection of learning materials and texts.
The MSCEL is now available free-of-charge to all Madison school district residents, including members of the higher education, private school, and home school communities.
"We are delighted to be able to open to the public the classroom and professional instructional resources that have been available previously to our staff," said Mark Lea, coordinator of Library Media Services for the district. "We have a wide range of content areas for preview and evaluation."
The Madison School & Community Education Library is located in Room 116 of the Doyle Administration Building at 545 West Dayton in downtown Madison. It's open Monday through Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Call 663-1923 or go to http://www.madison.k12.wi.us/ lms/MSCEL.
