The Board of Education of the Madison Metropolitan School District announced today the candidates for Board of Education Student Liaison and Alternate for the 2004-2005 school year.
Candidate for Liaison: Oliver Kiefer, West HS, currently in 11th Grade
Candidate for Alternate: Lena Song, West HS, currently in 11th Grade
The Student Liaison to the Board of Education is an advisory, non-voting seat on the Board. The Alternate sits in for the Liaison if he can't attend a Board meeting, and the Alternate also serves as the President of the Student Senate.
The election will be Friday, May 14 and voting will occur at each high school. All current MMSD high school students are eligible to vote.
