Pleuss Added As National Merit Semifinalist

Addition Increases District Total to Record of 54

Memorial High School student Jessica C. Pleuss was added to the list of National Merit Scholarship semifinalists -- bringing the district's total to a record 54 students. Pleuss spent her junior year in Finland.

Her study abroad apparently caused a delay in Madison receiving verification of her status as a National Merit Scholarship semifinalist. Her addition brings the total number of semifinalists for Memorial to twelve.
