FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Anne Nolan, a 23-year veteran of the Madison Metropolitan School District, has been named principal at Whitehorse Middle School. Nolan has been serving as interim principal at Whitehorse since August.
The appointment is pending the approval of the Board of Education at its regular meeting on April 3.
Prior to going to Whitehorse, Nolan was assistant principal at Hamilton Middle School from 1996 to 1999.
Nolan taught sixth grade at Lincoln, O'Keeffe and Sennett Middle Schools from 1976 to 1991. From 1991 to 1993, Nolan served as resource teacher and learning coordinator at Sherman Middle School, and she was learning coordinator at Whitehorse from 1993 to 1996.
Nolan earned her masters degree in Educational Administration from UW-Madison in 1989.
