Free health clinics for children and adolescents

Three Neighborhood Child Health Clinics are planned for this fall. The free clinics for Dane County children and adolescents, regardless of insurance status, will be open for registration from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on the following days and locations:

Monday, September 17thLincoln School909 Sequoia Trail
Monday, October 8thAllied/Head Start2096 Red Arrow Trail
Monday, October 22nd Lincoln School909 Sequoia Trail

The clinics will provide physical exams, dental and other screenings and immunizations. School and sports check-ups can also be completed.

If families are receiving Medicaid (Healthy Start or Badger Care,) they are asked to bring each family member's Medicaid (Forward) card. If families have insurance that pays for preventive health services, it is best to follow-up with their provider.

No appointments are necessary, but a parent or guardian must accompany the child. Interpreter services are available at the clinics, which are sponsored by the Dane County Coalition for Neighborhood Child Health.

Questions about the clinic should be directed to Sally Zirbel-Donisch, the clinic coordinator, at 663-8424 or Kathy Price at 663-6491.
