All Madison Metropolitan School District schools will reopen on Tuesday, September 4 for the 2007-08 school year and school lunches will begin on that date.
The regular starting and dismissal times for each school are listed below. The times are different this year for West side middle schools and high schools.
Parents should note that on Mondays, elementary schools are dismissed early. Also, elementary schools will be dismissed at the earlier, Monday time on Tuesday, September 4 and Wednesday, September 5.

Spring Harbor & Wright's Early Release Days dismissal time will be determined later.
The following schools start at 7:45 a.m. and dismiss students at 2:39 p.m. Tuesday — Friday. Every Monday these schools start at 7:45 a.m. and dismiss students at 1:07 p.m.
