Initial assignment of personnel shall be the prerogative of the Superintendent of Schools.
Upon employment, a beginning employee in the Madison Metropolitan School District will be given a preliminary notification of the building and/or position assignment.
The Superintendent also retains the right to transfer any personnel in the best interests of the schools. As is appropriate, requests by employees for transfer will be in accordance with the applicable negotiated agreement.
