Subject: PERSONNEL ALLOCATIONS AND APPOINTMENTS: BOARD AND SUPERINTENDENT APPROVALS REQUIRED

Appointments

All recommendations for appointment of employees shall be made by the Superintendent.
Personnel Allocations
New personnel allocations proposed during a current operating budget period shall be identified on a Board agenda and voted on as a separate action. The identification and recommendation of individuals to fill approved (new) allocations will appear on a subsequent Board agenda for consideration.
Transactions to Appear on Board Agenda

The following personnel transactions will be placed on the Board of Education agenda on the first available Regular BOE Meeting for approval by the Board:

All Employees

    1. New hires-information may include:
    1. Name
    2. Location
    3. Degree
    4. Experience
    5. Track and level
    6. Start date
    7. Effective date
    8. Salary
    9. Length of contract
    10. Hours of work
    11. Reason for replacement
    1. Rehired from layoff
    2. Change of employee unit (including administrative and non-represented)
    3. Retirements
    4. Resignations
    5. Terminations
    6. Deaths
    7. Approval of collective bargaining agreements

Administrators and Teachers

    1. Change in contract (FTE and/or salary)
    2. Appointments for additional salary
    3. Overloads
