I. Teaching Staff or Those Supervising or Administering Educational Activities
Whenever Wisconsin statutes or administrative rules require that a person possess a certificate or license, such certificate or license must be current and presented to Human Resources Department for recording and validation before a position can be offered to an applicant.
No payment shall be made to an employee who does not maintain a current recorded Wisconsin certificate or license, as required by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.
II. Substitute Teachers
A substitute teacher shall hold a current Wisconsin teacher's license or:
a. Shall have proof that a valid Wisconsin license was held;
b. Shall be certificated within the semester in which the substitute teaches.Insofar as possible, qualifications for a substitute teacher shall be the same as those of a regular teacher.
