Criminal Records Check - STUDENT TEACHERS |

The safety and well-being of the students, staff, and volunteers of the Madison Metropolitan School District is paramount. Student teachers assigned to the District shall be subject to a formal criminal record check conducted by the Wisconsin Department of Justice prior to being allowed to work with students. If there is a conviction or pending charge(s) the Department of Human Resources shall evaluate the criminal record check in consultation with legal counsel and shall determine if the individual will be accepted as a student teacher.
