NO SMOKING POLICY

There shall be no smoking or use of other tobacco products while on premises either owned or rented by or under the control of the School Board. Pupils and any staff who accompany them shall not use tobacco products while engaged in any school-sponsored activity, except adults may use tobacco products while engaged in outdoor Madison School-Community Recreation activities that occur on property not owned, rented by or under the control of the School Board.

This policy means that the use of all tobacco products is strictly prohibited either on premises rented by, owned by or under the control of the School Board or while pupils and staff are engaged in school-sponsored activities.

Adults who are engaged in outdoor Madison School - Community Recreation (MSCR) activities may continue to use tobacco products when such activities do not occur on premises rented by, owned by or under the control of the School Board.
