A. Eligibility
The District provides dental insurance to all regular and permanent employees if:
Biweekly employees work at least 19 hours per week, or teachers and administrators have at least a 50% or more contract.
B. Date Effective
Coverage becomes effective the first day of the month following one month of employment if the employee completes and returns the dental application form to the Benefits Division within one month of his/her first day of employment.
C. Late Enrollment
Late enrollment into dental insurance is effective on the first of the month following a three-month wait. The waiting period begins on the date the dental application is received by the Benefits Division.
