Holidays
Holidays are outlined in each unit's collective bargaining agreement (CBA). Depending on the unit, up to ten holidays are available to District employees. Although not all employees receive the same holidays, the following is a list of possible holidays.
Independence Day - 1 day
Labor Day - 1 day
Thanksgiving - 1 day
Day after Thanksgiving - 1 day
December 24 - 1 day
December 25 - 1 day
December 31 - 1 day
January 1 - 1 day
Martin Luther King Day - 1 day
Memorial Day - 1 day
Floating Holidays
Depending on the CBA, some employees are also entitled to floating holidays each year. Please consult the CBA for details of this benefit.
