ADMINISTRATOR'S SICK LEAVE UPON PROMOTION OR DEMOTION

In the event an employee is promoted to an administrative position, there shall be no adjustment made to the number of days of sick leave accumulated prior to the effective date of the promotion. Following the date of the promotion, the affected employee shall carry forward the same number of sick leave days accumulated in the employee's previous position.

In the event an Administrative employee is demoted/reassigned to a non-administrative position in the Custodial, Educational Assistant, Security Assistant, Substitute Teacher or Trades unit, there shall be no adjustment made to the number of days of sick leave accumulated prior to the effective date of the demotion. Following the date of the demotion, the affected employee shall carry forward the same number of sick leave days accumulated in the employee's previous position.
