This is a picture of Durand's old bridge across the Chippewa River. One side of the bridge is Drand and the other side is Arkansaw. The picture takes place about 1910. Durand is in Pepin County in the western part of Wisconsin (second smallest county in Wisconsin. Miles Durand Prindle is the founder of Durand.
