This picture is of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It was taken about 1885. The photo is of the Milwaukee River. It was taken looking north from the Wisconsin Avenue Bridge. Its surrounded by buildings and in the way back there are a couple big factories. One building I see is a billiard hall and another is a restaurant. Thank you to the State Historical Society for this information.
