Summer School 2009 will be held from June 22 through July 31, 2009. It is primarily designed for students who need to make up credit. Pre-registration is necessary. Your first step is to review the brochure, then speak with your guidance counselor.
Summer School 2009 brochures were mailed to all households in early May, 2008. The brochure contains all of the class descriptions, dates & times, and the mail-in registration form. If you do not have a brochure feel free to call your guidance counselor.
Highlights of the brochure:
Summer school classes begin on Monday, June 22nd and end on Friday, July 31st. Daily classes meet 8:00 until 10:00 a.m., and 10:05 until 12:05. You can take one or two classes.
Advanced registration is advisable, because some classes do fill up. Contact your guidance counselor in advance and secure his or her signature on your registration form.
Class fees are from $20 to $26 for each class. Fee waivers for low income students are possible.
Late registration will be held at Memorial High School and at East High School on Wednesday, June 17 from 9:00 a.m. until 12 noon.
