In order to graduate from James Madison Memorial High School, a student must:

1. Earn 22 credits.*(see below)
2. Meet the following course and credit requirements:
   a. Earn 4 credits of English (English 9,10,11 required).
   b. Earn 3 credits of social studies (Soc 9,10,11 required).
   c. Earn 2 credits of mathematics (Algebra I &Geometry required).
   d. Earn 2 credits of science.
   e. Earn 1.5 credits of Physical Education(Phy Ed 9 & 10 required). 
   f.  Earn .5 credit of Health   
   g. Be enrolled in a class or school-approved activity each period of every day(Department of Public Instruction mandate)..

*  When students transfer to Memorial from another high school, counselors evaluate the transcript from that school and prepare a written
determination of requirements for graduation from Memorial.
