JULY-AUGUST-SEPTEMBER 2008 AT A GLANCE

REGISTRATION AND CLASS SCHEDULE PICKUP FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2008-2009:
MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR AUGUST NOW.
Things will be a little different this year. Registration for all four grades will be possible on either of the following two days:
Thursday, August 21: 8:00- 12:00noon, and 3:00-6:00 p.m.
Monday, August 25: 8:00- 12:00noon, and 3:00-6:00 p.m.
Note: If you are brand new to Memorial and did not complete the February registration procedures be sure to call our registrar, Terri Kleist, 663-6054, for an appointment, as soon as possible.

Ninth Grade Only: First Day of School for 9th graders is Tuesday, September 2, 2008.

Tenth, Eleventh, and Twelfth Grades: First Day of School is Wednesday, September 3, 2008.

NINTH GRADERS: THE GOVERNOR WILL GUARANTEE ADMISSION TO A TWO OR FOUR YEAR COLLEGE IF YOU AGREE TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS. YOU CAN STILL SIGN UP FOR THE "WISCONSIN COVENANT" ONLINE, OR ON THE DAY YOU REGISTER AT MEMORIAL. For all the details, see the state's "Wisconsin Covenant" website.

All Grades: Go To School Night is September 15, 2008. Grade 9 parents begin at 6:00 p.m. All other begin at 6:30 p.m. Meet your child's teachers and hear the essentials for success this year. There will be time for Q & A too. And be sure to sign up (in the gym) for your timeslots for the November 14th parent-teacher conferences.
