PE Philosophy & Curriculum
Physical Education at Glendale consists of equal time dedicated to improving the students skills in the areas of Games, Dance, Gymnastics and Fitness. The focus with the elementary age student is to teach skills in a safe, secure and positive environment. All skills can be performed at different levels of difficulty and with varying degrees of quality. Student progress is evaluated through skills and learning experiences considered developmentally appropriate at grade level and designed to meet the Physical Education Standards and Benchmarks developed and adopted by the Madison Metropolitan School District.
