Science Olympiad
 
Club SCIENCE OLYMPIAD
What A year-long activity that engages students in many science and engineering topics. Events include building and designing projects such as robot construction, creating wooden structures to support specific loads, model airplane engineering, and similar tasks. Students also prepare for short-term events such as physics lab, astronomy, herpetology, health science, and others. There are 28 events to choose from. The La Follette Science Olympiad program has placed 2nd at the state competition in the last 3 years.
Who: Any student interested in learning and applying topics in science

Congratulations Science Olympiad Team

Congrats for an outstanding performance @ the Edgewood Regional.  LHS had 24 top 4 finishes--6 4th place, 5 3rd place, 3 2nd place finishers, & 6 Regional Champs!  The team now moves on to the state competition in April @ UW-Madison.
