Genuine excitement

The first snowfall of the season brings unbridled joy to elementary students.  It energizes schools as students - with snow pants at the ready - are presented with new ways to play and find that the usual games are enhanced.  Three Franklin Elementary School students discovered that the slides are more slippery at recess on December 7, the first day with "play-able" snow.  When the recess period ended after its normal length, one student remarked to his teacher, "We just got started!"
