Conducting Regular Board Business

At a Regular Board meeting:

  1. the President of the Board shall call the meeting to order, conduct any special business, request that the Board approve the minutes of a previous meeting, preside over the public appearances, make his/her announcements and reports, and call upon the Superintendent to make his/her announcements and reports;
  2. the Chairperson of a Board Committee shall report on such Committee, including any action that the Committee is recommending that the Board take;
  3. the Treasurer of the Board shall report on the Regular Board Agenda item entitled Auditing, Purchasing, Transfers and Other Financial Transactions, and
  4. the Vice President of the Board shall report on all the other items that appear on the Regular Board Agenda.

Should the Board President, Vice President of the Board, and/or the Chairperson of a Board Committee not be present at a Regular Board meeting, any Board member may be called upon to report on any item on the Regular Board Agenda.
