Only approved telephone calls related to Madison Metropolitan School District business shall be paid by the BOARD.

Phone Calls

  1. A long distance phone call must be approved by the BUILDING PRINCIPAL at the schools or by the Director in the Administration Building.
  2. A completed long distance call, whether person-to-person or station-to-station, shall be reported to the appropriate Supervisor.
  3. All accepted collect calls shall be reported to the appropriate Supervisor along with the calling station and party.
  4. Only approved long distance calls related to Madison Metropolitan School District business are paid by the BOARD.
  5. If a personal long distance telephone call is made by anyone, including an employee, that person shall reimburse the District for the costs of the call.
  6. A person who makes personal or long distance cell phone calls using a District cell phone shall reimburse the District for the costs of the call.
