Facilities
All District facilities shall be maintained at a level of health and safety to protect the
health, safety, and welfare of students, employees, and the public. To assist in the
fulfillment of this policy, all of the District's facilities shall be in compliance with all
applicable local safety and health codes and regulations as well as all federal
regulations, state codes and orders of the State of Wisconsin. The DIRECTOR OF
BUILDING SERVICES, or her/his designee, is responsible for ensuring that the facilities
are in compliance with all regulations, codes, orders, etc. and the DIRECTOR has the
responsibility for coordinating all activities related to ensuring safe and healthful
facilities for the entire District.

Facilities
- The District facilities shall be inspected annually by the DIRECTOR OF
BUILDING SERVICES, or her/his designee, for potential or demonstrated
hazards to health and safety. Should hazardous conditions exist, they shall be
corrected or necessary arrangements shall be made to provide for safe and
healthful facilities.
- All employees who have reason to believe that District facilities are not being
maintained in accordance with this POLICY should report this information to the
DIRECTOR OF BUILDING SERVICES, or her/his designee.
- The DIRECTOR OF BUILDING SERVICES shall recommend to the
SUPERINTENDENT ways and means to bring the facilities that have been
identified as hazards into compliance with the POLICY.
- Maintenance procedures and custodial services shall be conducted in such a
manner that the health and safety of persons using the facilities are protected.
