Fees for Copying
The Madison Metropolitan School District will provide copies of student records in
compliance with Federal and State legislation. The District reserves the right to charge
a reasonable fee for providing services.

Fees for Copying
- Parents and eligible students will be provided with a copy of all student records
upon request.
- All student records will be forwarded within five (5) working days to another
school or school district without charge if the transferring school district has
received written notice from the parent or eligible student that the student intends
to enroll in the other school or school district, or written notice from the other
school or school district that the student has enrolled.

- The fee for all other copies, such as copies forwarded to third parties with prior
consent, will be 25 cents per page plus postage if applicable.
