Bid Practices for Supplies and Equipment

Bids for all supplies and equipment shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder provided:
1. The product offered complies with the bid specifications;
2. The sample, where required, unquestionably shows a quality as good as or better than that described in the specifications. The sample furnished by the successful bidder shall be retained by the Director of Administrative Services until after delivery by the successful bidder.
3. The acceptance of the bid is in the best interests of the District.
The BOARD reserves the right to reject any and all bids (for cause) and to approve the lowest bid which is in the best interests of the Madison Metropolitan School District.
