POLICY	EXPENDITURES	6244 Operation

Purchase and/or Contracted Services Limitations

All purchases and/or contracted services in excess of $15,000 shall be approved by the BOARD and shall be based on quotations or advertised bids. If a bid or proposal has been approved by the Board, the Superintendent or his/her designee can consummate and approve the contract without further Board action.
Purchases in an amount less that $15,000 shall be governed by Procedure.

PROCEDURE	EXPENDITURES	6244 Operation

Purchase and/or contracted Services Limitations

Any purchase and/or contracted service of $5,000 or less may be made at the discretion of the Director of Administrative Services and Director of Building Services.
Any purchase and/or contracted service in excess of $5,000 up to $10,000 may be made at the discretion of the Director of Administrative Services and the Director of Building Services and shall be supported by at least three price quotations or advertised bids.
Any purchase and/or contracted service in excess of $10,000 up to $15,000 may be made at the discretion of the SUPERINTENDENT and/or his/her designee and shall be supported by at least three price quotations or advertised bids.
