Petty Cash Funds
Petty cash funds shall be maintained in each of the schools and in
the central office as approved by the SUPERINTENDENT.

Petty Cash Funds
- Petty cash funds shall be established in schools as follows:
- Maximum amount available in an elementary school fund - $300.00;
- Maximum amount available in a middle school - $400.00;
- Maximum amount available in a high school - $600.00.
- The maximum amount available in administrative locations shall be determined by the ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT FOR BUSINESS SERVICES.
- Petty cash transactions shall be limited to $25.00 except for purchases of food and postage.
- Multiple petty cash purchases of less than $25.00 each made to circumvent the $25.00 limit shall not be condoned.
- Records as required by the ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT FOR BUSINESS SERVICES shall be maintained and furnished for all petty cash expenditures and shall be turned in to Accounting Services to replenish petty cash funds.
