Compliance With Copyright Law
The BOARD of EDUCATION of the Madison Metropolitan School District intends that
employees of the District abide by the provisions of the Copyright Law, Title 17
of the United States Code.

Compliance With Copyright Law
- The procedure relative to copyright materials is set forth in the District copyright manual entitled, Copyright and You.
- In accordance with provisions in the manual, exclusive rights of reproduction, distribution, adaptations, performance, and display will be granted to the creator of a work unless:
- Fair Use (Section 107) or Educational Exclusions (Section 110) apply;
- Licensing agreements are obtained;
- Written permission is granted by holder of copyright; or
- Materials are exempt from exclusive rights specifications.
