School Events Broadcasts or Telecasts

Broadcasting or televising school events may be approved.

PROCEDURE	LOCAL BUSINESS	7511 Community Relations

School Events Broadcasts or Telecasts

All requests to broadcast or televise school athletic contests shall be directed to the Office of the COORDINATOR of DISTRICT ATHLETICS.
1. Such requests shall be subject to the approval of the SUPERINTENDENT.
  1. Requests shall be denied if sponsored by a tavern or a firm promoting the sale of beer, liquor, or tobacco.
  2. Requests granted shall be in the order in which the requests were received.
  3. Stations granted permission shall agree to supply, for a reasonable fee, their broadcasts to other stations.
All requests to broadcast or televise other than athletic events or contests shall be directed to the APPROPRIATE ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT.
1. Such requests shall be subject to item 1.a.1), 2), and 3) above.
