Community Relations

It is the policy of the Madison School Board to allow Madison School District students, employees and visitors the opportunity to benefit from automated external defibrillators. To that end, if there are sufficient funds available as determined by the Superintendent or his/her designee, the Madison School District will attempt to place and maintain one or more automated external defibrillators in each school and other buildings owned and operated by the Madison School District and provide training for Madison School District employees relative to the use of automated external defibrillators.

Community Relations

The process and procedure for the maintenance, deployment and use of the defibrillators have been developed by the Madison School District in accordance with the law and are contained in the Medical Emergency section of the Guidelines for the Management of Illness and Injury in the School Setting.
