Application for Employment

  1. The Madison Metropolitan School District is committed to a positive and active personnel recruitment and placement program for minority persons and women at all job levels.
  2. Other factors being equal, Madison Metropolitan School District staff members may be given preference for positions for which they apply.
  3. A birth certificate or other legal evidence of date of birth, if available, shall be recorded with the Human Resources Department.
  4. Physical examinations of employees shall be as per s. 118.25 Wis. Stats. (1971). (Reference Policy 8031.)
  5. Where a Wisconsin License or certificate is required, such shall be presented to the Human Resources Department for recording.

    No payment shall be made to an employee who has not had the proper certificate or license recorded, unless the State Department of Public Instruction authorizes action to the contrary.
