About Schenk Elementary

Schenk is an elementary school on the far East side of Madison. It houses students in grades kindergarten through fifth grade, as well as an Early Chilhood program for students with disabilities in preschool. Schenk is a multi-age school, having K/1, 2/3, and 4/5 classrooms. Click here to read about a report some Schenk second graders did about Herbert Schenk, our school's namesake. Schenk celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2004! Visitors are always welcome to our school. Come to evening events, or stop by the office to get a visitor's pass during the day!
