22 credits are needed to graduate:

Social Studies - 3 Credits *Science - 2* Credits 3 Credits Natural Science (Lab Science)
Phys Education - 1.5 Credits   2 Credits of a Foreign Language for certain College's
Health - .5 Credits Electives (all other credits)

Youth Options

Youth Options allows MMSD eleventh and twelfth grade students to enroll at Wisconsin schools of higher education and have tuition paid for by the school district. Courses applied for must not be available at any of the schools in the Madison School District. Applications and more information are available in the Guidance Office. Deadline for first semester 2007-2008 is March 1, 2007.

Benefits:

Articulated courses - students get the opportunity to receive college credit while still in high school. During the class you do college level work and get credit for both high school and college. The type of work that is done are things that you would use later on in most, if not all, career fields.

Post High School Education Information

MATC

Offers opportunities for training in more than 100 careers and associate degrees, which can be applied, to the Liberal Arts Transfer Program to a 4-year college. Program brochures are available in the Guidance Office
